Two puffins out on open water, the sea going silver in every direction and no horizon to speak of. Puffins are smaller than most people expect — closer to the size of your hand than the size of the bird in the photographs — and they sit low in the water with a kind of unbothered dignity I wanted to keep.
The card is blank inside so you can say whatever needs saying. It comes with a kraft envelope, printed on cardstock from the original watercolor.
